Filmatic entered the market for hygienic filling equipment in 2000, more than 18 years ago.

Extended shelf life can be achieved with any product that is a function of the complete manufacturing system and is influenced by product preparation, transport, filling, storage conditions, packaging, operational processes & procedures, maintenance and staff expertise etc.

When using our ESL Filling method, no taste characteristics of the product are influenced, therefore achieving a longer shelf life without any impact on the taste of the product.

Filmatic use the term “clean filler” for a log 3 reduction capability, “ultra-clean filler” for a log 4 reduction capability. Aseptic is regarded as equipment with log 5 or higher capability.

ESL Level Filling Machine

Extended Shelf Life (ESL) for Milk, Water, Juice and other Non-Carbonated products.

The containers open the filling valves and fill to a constant level from the top of the container.​

​Recent developments on the level filling valves include a redesigned bellow that can be CIP’d without the need for disassembling the valve. Built-in driptrays divert condensate from the valve away from the open container, thereby preventing contamination of the product with airborne contaminants that become trapped in the condensate. Any one of a number of anti-spillage measures such a “suck-back” feature or “choking” feature are employed depending on the specific application.

ESL Piston Filling Machine

Our range of Rotary Piston Fillers are designed to fill more viscous products such as mayonnaise, sauces etc.​

Pistons are volumetric filling systems, meaning that a set volume is discharged into the container during every cycle.

ESL Nett Weigh Filling Machine

Filmatic’s flagship hygienic filler is a double stage rinser ( chemical rinsing and sterile water rinsing ), weigh filler, pick and place capper. This filling machine has been operating at Andecher dairy in Germany since 2004, achieving a log 4 rating, verified by the Technical University of Munich – Department of Microbiology)
